The Pharmacometric Research Group of the Department of Pharmaceutical Biosciences offered the first free summer school in August 2011. Around 30 PhD students from all around the world came to Uppsala and spent 2 weeks learning, discussing and applying modelling techniques for continuous and categorical data and covariate model building. Five students coming from developing countries were offered a travel grant covering their travel and accommodation thanks to a grant from Novartis to UPSS.
